The amount of time and cost of a custom order depends on the item and the amount of leeway I'm given by the commissioner. If I'm creating something for myself, (like most of the chibis) I can get one finished in a day because I have no rules to follow. But special order with custom specifics can take from a couple of days up to a week.

I do not do realistic replicas of anything. Each item I make is "chibified" --- kind of like a caricature in the style of my art. Anything that's already young looking tends to translate pretty well because that's what chibis are, baby/young versions of the original subject.

If a person wants a simple chibi version of a pet for example, and the only conditions are that the markings are similar and the eye color, this is a very fast and reasonably priced project.

Once accessories begin to be added that is when the cost needs to be increased (because of the time it takes to make accessories).
